Social Networking - Part One

Meeting time changed back to 9:30 a.m.

This month's General Meeting will be focusing on Social Networking! So how does this apply to you?

Everyone does social networking when they keep in touch and interact with family and friends. Your Mac is a wonderful tool to help you do this in an efficient, entertaining and resourceful manner.

The July and August General Meetings is to look at our social network of family and friends and show how various Apple applications can enhance and strengthen that network.

• July 25th we will examine My Space and Facebook.
  
• August 22nd session explores Twitter, RSS and mobile social networking.

Coming to George Mason University's Enterprise Hall from I-495 Capital Beltway?

• Exit Capital Beltway on Braddock Road westbound
  
• Drive about 6 miles making right turn at stop light onto Roberts Road
  
• Make left onto Shenadoah Drive, entering the University campus
  
• Left onto Patriots Circle
  
• Right onto Sandy Creek Way.
  
• Park in LOWEST level of parking deck on your left, the take elevator or stairs to third floor in parking deck, exit and walk across traffic circle to Enterprise Hall. See Apple Pi web pages about parking costs
  
• Follow posted signs to our meeting room
  

REMINDER: Food and drink are NOT permitted in lecture hall. Consume them in foyer area.
