Social Networking - Part Two

Meeting time changed back to 9:30 a.m.

This month's General Meeting will be focusing on Social Networking!

At Part One, the July General Meeting on July 25, we looked at our social network of family and friends and show how various Apple applications and how they could enhance and strengthen that network.

August 22nd meeting explores Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and the "mobile" social networking technologies.

• Exit Capital Beltway on Braddock Road westbound
  
• Drive about 6 miles making right turn at stop light onto Roberts Road
  
• Make left onto Shenadoah Drive, entering the University campus
  
• Left onto Patriots Circle
  
  Drop off - Parking Choices
  
  • Drop off passenger at Enterprise Hall - 3 handicapped spaces near entry door
    
    
    
    • 1. Right on Sandy Creek Way
      
    • 2. Enterprise Hall is straight ahead of you. See Apple Pi signs.
      
    • 3. Proceed to preferred parking.
      
    
    
  • Use pay parking (get a get-out-of-lot discount at Apple Pi meeting for $3 donation)
    
    
    
    • 1. Right on Sandy XCreek Way
      
    • 2. Immediate left into Sandy Creek Garage. Park on lowest level.
      
    • 3. Take elevator to Campus Level (3rd floor).
      
    • 4. Walk out of elevator and garage. Enterprise Hall is across circular roadway.
      
    
    
  • Free reserved parking with five minute uphill walk to Enterprise Hall
    
    
    
    • 1. Continue past Sandy Creek Way.
      
    • 2. Make left on Mattaponi River Lane.
      
    • 3. Left into Lot A - Reserved Parking.
      
    • 4. Walk across Patriot Circle (road) at Mattaponi River Lane.
      
    • 5. Take first sidewalk to right (next to building) and follow it uphill to mid-building entry to Enterprise Hall. Apple Pi foyer will be on your left.

REMINDER: Food and drink are NOT permitted in the Lecture hall. Consume them in foyer area.
